Amazing customer support, ok house
3/5 The support and responsiveness from the Evolve team made our stay. From the beginning, they were quick to respond, accommodated our request for an early check in due to traveling with little ones, and even brought us flashlights at 9pm when the power went out. We were so appreciative of them.
The downside was the house. Although the large kitchen and living room area was really great for our group, the house itself is a classic PMl house. If you’ve been visiting PmL for the last 30 years like us, you know exactly what we mean. The house has not been updated in 40 years - not the carpet, beds, kitchen, bedrooms, etc. Our daughter with asthma was coughing the entire time (hello very old carpets).
This house could be so amazing with new mattresses (the current ones are pretty uncomfortable), good bedding, and carpets replaced. Hoping more houses in PML make upgrades soon.
But again, the support from the Evolve team was superior and I would definitely rent through them again.
The place is large, but dated
4/5 The property does show the lake. The place is big and is more suitable for families with kids.
The place is dark. There aren't enough lights in the house or front room. We took off the light shades to produce more light.
The kitchen is very dated from the 1980's. There is a place on the kitchen counter to plug your blender into the counter top.
The gate to get in can be a very long process. You have to wait in line each time you go into the property. We went close to a holiday weekend and spent 20 minutes waiting to get back in. The property should come with a pass like the owners have to enter.

Comfortable!
5/5 This rental was comfortable and relaxing. We stayed here for a wedding. House was easy to get to. Close proximity to beach and amenities. I like that it was only a few stairs to get to the front door. The A/C worked great! Even supplied beach towels. Three suggestions for improvement: supply more wash clothes and hand towels, put in non-slip rugs, & I noticed some cob webs. We would come back here!!!

Wonderful Stay!
5/5 The lake house is so beautiful with lots of space to enjoy your time with friends or family. The host was super responsive and it was a very easy drive to Yosemite. Definitely would recommend it!

Quiet cabin-style house
4/5 Cute house straight out of the 70s. 😁 Lovely, huge front porch is what sold me on the property. Could sit outside and eat while covered with roof. Sheets were iffy in the master bedroom, seemed like they weren't clean? Hair and debris on them. We slept in the other extra bedroom so no issue. Main living space was awesome. And has books and activities for kids. Went to Yosemite, took longer than anticipated, 90 minutes to Yosemite valley. Not much else to do in town in March.
