We would stay again on short visits to see family.

From the owner: "Thank you so much Jennifer for such a kind review. We would love to host you again in the near future. We know there are many options to choose from. Thanks for choosing our rental. You were wonderful guests."
My stay on Wolf Rd was relaxing, quiet and beautiful. I used the front porch for my morning yoga. There is a nice picket fence for privacy and a patio umbrella made an adequate cover from the rain! This space is quaint and cozy. The decor is shabby chic meets country cottage, I’m obsessed. Kirsten and Mike went above and beyond with a yummy meat and cheese plate and cookies even! The radio adorning the kitchen table was a gem. It provided a sense of nostalgia and warmness.
Overall, I really enjoyed my stay! I had read the reviews prior to arriving and here are some updates:
-I kept my snacks in the fridge and didn’t see a single ant! The counters and floors were clean and there were ant traps about in the kitchen and bathroom.
-I pulled up and parked right in the middle of the driveway. There is a sign so it isn’t hard to miss! There is a tenant in the first tiny home on the right. We exchanged hellos and I didn’t see him the remainder of my trip!
-It had been raining the day before and the day I arrived. I walked through the breeze way and the place is to the right. There is a stone walkway and solar lights in the ground to see. I wasn’t out after dark much and brought a towel to wipe my feet on before walking inside.
-When I arrived Friday, I wanted to take a shower but the cold water wasn’t turned on. I texted the # provided and it was fixed right away for me!
-This is a small unit and best for 1-2 adults. Overall a sweet, peaceful getaway. Thanks

My stay was relaxing, quiet and beautiful. This is a perfect spot for what I needed it for. I use the front balcony for my morning yoga, as there is a nice picket fence for privacy and a patio umbrella that made an adequate cover from the rain. It was magical hearing the raindrops on the roof while working on my downward dog.

Overall this place exceeded my expectations. I had read the reviews and to give some updates:
- I kept my snacks in the fridge and didn’t see a single ant! The counters and floors were clean , and there were ant traps in the kitchen and the bathroom.
- I pulled right into my parking spot from the driveway. There is a tenant in the first tiny home to the right and he was very friendly and helped me feel confident about my park job. That was the only time I saw him.
-It was raining and there is a stone walkway. There were solar lights in the ground and a clear path to the front steps (two of them).
-I checked the weather before I booked and brought a towel to lay on the patio for my muddy footprints. Thankfully though the mud wasn’t an issue.
-When I arrived Friday, I went to take a shower and the cold water wasn’t working so I text the contact number I was given and was reassured it would be fixed. I woke up Saturday morning and had a great shower. The water was working just perfect .
-This is a smaller place and I’d recommend for a solo trip or a couple. It is real cozy, and overall a sweet and peaceful getaway.
-It’s basically across the street from a main road with a full size grocery store (Holiday Market) and a local Mexican restaurant fave (El Agave), yet tucked away enough to get that country living feel. 10 out of 10 will absolutely book again. Thank you Kirsten and Mike .
Arrived Thursday and took a shower and a nap. When I woke up the ants were all over my suitcase. I had no food or drink, just clothes. I left and spent the night at a friends. Friday I came to address the ants and brought my own spray to help. Ended up cleaning the entire floor and bathroom with cleaner. Ants were everywhere. I did not stay the night and kept my bag in my vehicle. Saturday I spoke with the owner and Sunday she said the ant problem was adressed. Monday I swung by and the owner asked what I was doing? There was no space to park in the driveway, and I could not sleep due to air compressor going constantly. There was no water in the unit. I did not spend one night there. I did not feel like it was clean and the ants were bothersome. I would like a full refund.

Hi DMarie, we take it seriously when guests let us know that we missed the mark, and after sending your feedback to the homeowner, they’d like to share the following:
- We promptly addressed the ant issue during the stay. Information in the unit notes that ants can be prevalent this time of year. We provided ant spray in the cabinet and placed ant traps throughout the unit. It was mentioned to us that a salad was left out, which likely attracted the ants. Our information sheet states that leaving food out can draw ants and advises placing all food in the refrigerator for safekeeping. Additionally, we perform perimeter spraying before each stay to proactively address such issues.
- When the guest returned on Monday, it was past the checkout time, and as no extension request had been made, we proceeded with our standard checkout procedure, including turning off the water. During the stay, we did not run the compressor and only activated it after checkout time on Monday. We communicated upon departure, and it was cordial. We also offered to turn the water back on to take a shower, despite it being past checkout and the offer was declined.
- The guest's presence at the property was limited, but it was mentioned at the beginning of the stay that she would be coming and going throughout the weekend.
Thank you for sharing your review. Your feedback assists us in understanding our guests' perspectives and improving wherever possible.
Place was nice....driveway with parking was a little difficult to get in and out of with a full size vehicle and sharing the same driveway with other vehicles too. Walkway to the the house during the rainy season was very muddy and wet...shoes were thrashed every time in and out and my kid slipped twice. Water heater is electric and if your not used to it, will run out of water in about 2-3 minutes making it difficult for multiple people to shower. The location was right close to town which was nice.

Micah, we want our guests to rest easy when they stay with us, and we apologize you experienced some issues during your trip. We followed up with the homeowner after reading your feedback, and they wanted to share the following:
"Hi Micah, thank you for letting us know about your stay. I am happy to update our future travelers that the issues you referenced in your review have been addressed.
-We have landscaped and put in a pathway to the tiny house that will eliminate future issues. We had an unusual amount of rainfall this past winter and unfortunately, your visit was during one of the most precipitous weeks we had.
-In regards to the hot water, we have implemented a whole house water heater and the issue of short spans of hot water will no longer be an issue.
-Parking is now readily available with a designated spot and there is a
turnout so guests can easily turn onto Wolf Road.
Thank you again for providing such valuable feedback."
