  Spectacular stay! I am a lone, female traveler who was staying there for personal business, so my main concerns were safety, quiet, comfort and affordability. I got all of that and MORE! I was completely surprised at how beautiful the studio was. From the moment I opened the door I was at ease. First, the neighborhood is very safe. Being so close to a new casino, I was observing for unsavory foot traffic but there was none. No liquor stores, encampments or vagrants wandering around. Street parking is plentiful and I was able to park right in front of the entrance the whole time. The entrance is a code entry, so no keys to handle. The owner had just changed the code before I arrived which was very reassuring, actually. I know because the code that I was given was an old one, so I had to call her to get the new one. She responded promptly and was very sweet about helping me get in. Everything was described perfectly. The studio is designed beautifully inside. I took care of it as if it were my own home. In fact, I took pictures of it to note decorating ideas! Lol. Secondly is quiet, the neighborhood is very quiet but because it’s attached to the main house I could hear the inhabitants use their kitchen and chat, but it wasn’t annoying at all. It kind of put me at ease and was reminiscent of “home noises”. For the most part, it was completely quiet. Last it was comfortable and affordable. I highly recommend this place and will book again if coming back. Thanks Donnah!

  The room was very clean and well equipped. I would like to say that the room needs it's own AC unit. The thermostat is set for the whole house. Our room was too warm at night. We like to sleep in a cooler climate. Also, the separation between the guest room and the house is a locked barn door. Voices could be heard from either side of the door. You couldn't understand what was said but heard voices. Also, there are no chairs in the room except for the two backless stools. We are elderly and the stools were very uncomfortable. You need a chair to watch TV, put on your shoes, etc. Otherwise, it was very nice.

  From the owner: "Thanks for your comment, it is much appreciated. We have installed a portable AC with a heater in the room now so our guests can have more control of the room temperature as well as soundproof on the adjoining door. As far as a comfortable chair, unfortunately, the room is not big enough to accommodate 2 full chairs but we are adding folding chairs to accommodate your needs. Thanks again"

• Cottage comfort

  We were stunned when we walked through the door. The space was super clean, modern, and had the feeling of a cottage retreat. The owners were exceptionally nice and attentive. On our next visit we will definitely stay here again. Thank you so much for making our stay so pleasant and comfortable.

  I have stayed at many Airbnb and this was top tier! From the private patio, to the decor, fireplace, and bidet, I felt that this was the ultimate oasis from the world outside. I considered moving in! Thank you for the ultimate accommodations!
