• Misleading Title

  We booked this VRBO for it's title that said included DOCK! This is a misleading statement. The dock is a shared dock with the host / homeowner boat tied to the dock which leaves no room for your boat. The house is very minimal with supplies and cleaning supplies. Air Conditioner does not work properly or it is being control remotely, it was cooler outside than in the house.

  Hi Sheri, we’re sorry to hear your stay did not meet your expectations. We followed up with the homeowner after reading your feedback, and they wanted to share the following:
  -The dock, as depicted in the listing photos, features a boat currently tied to it, but there remains twenty two feet of available dock space, which is generally adequate for most ski boats. To accommodate the guest’s thirty-foot boat, our boat was moved forward. Additionally, we offered an early check-in to enhance their experience, believing this would contribute positively to their stay.
  -Regarding the air conditioning, it is preprogrammed on the thermostat to maintain a comfortable temperature throughout our guests' stay. While the settings are not controlled remotely, they are designed to ensure optimal comfort in the home. If adjustments are needed during your stay, we are always available to assist.
  We strive to ensure that every guest enjoys the best possible stay, and we eagerly anticipate hosting many more satisfied guests at this property, as evidenced by our other reviews.

  First concern was the property manager a week before our stay was not part of that address anymore so that was a concern of mine but finally the owner did call!! (Not sure why that happen) Inside the house is clean. Lots of cobwebs on the outside of house everywhere!! Some of the outside windows and on the outside deck too. Air conditioner downstairs is nice but 3 bedrooms get uncomfortable when hot outside!

  Not sure if owner needs to get it checked out and serviced. Also some of the lights in the house and outside don’t work because light bulbs are out.

  Also didn’t like that the house rules were saying that we could not play any music outside or neighbors would call police and we would be fined!! We met both neighbors and they were nice and we had no issues when we listened to music really low during the day!! We had a boat but because owner had his boat there that someone told us that it hadn’t been used in over a year (not sure about that) but would be nice to have enough room to use with out damaging their boat! (Owner) Last was the barbecue is not cleaned whoever used last and all propane cylinders were empty!! The temperature gauge on the barbecue is broken at 500 degrees but we worked through it! All in All one time only for our family to stay there!! Find another place next time to stay at for our vacation!!

• Such a great little vacation for us

  We had a great time at this place. I had a direct line to the owner who was very receptive and worked out a few things that needed attention. They were very willing to work with us and make sure everything was comfortable for us. I would definitely stay again.

  We had a great weekend and enjoyed the house very much. The inside was clean, the air conditioning worked quite well over the hot weekend and the back deck was very relaxing.
