  Extremely quiet neighborhood. Amazing geothermal hot tub and pool. House fully furnished with everything you might need. Property manager very easy to communicate with. I had a very pleasant, relaxing stay. Be sure to check out Cabot's Pueblo.

  Artistic and worldly atmosphere with your own personal mineral spa and pool make this a wonderful place to relax and revive. Geralyn is an excellent and very accommodating host. Wish we would have booked a longer stay.

• Desert Hot Springs House with Pool & Spa

  This home was supposed to be self-check-in with door code to enter, however, the owner was inside the house and opened it for my husband; she then spent half-hour showing him around the place then left, so we could be alone but came back five minutes later to shout into the front door that our van door was open, scared me to jump! The "boho chic" was not chic and bookshelves, "art" hanging from the ceiling, bathroom rug all dirty-dusty as well as back patio floor. The entire interior of house needs painting badly. The old bathtub showerhead barely dripped water. Next surprise came second night when we got in the spa it was disappointing cold, so hubby called owner who said to shut it off and it would be looked at by a neighbor the next morning. When we received a text from her the next morning, she said she was coming back to check on things and would be staying in the "adjacent" property which turned out to be a locked bedroom next to the kitchen in the rental house. After receiving that news we then told her we were leaving and had to collect all our things to drive back to Phoenix. There went our tranquil few days away. The owner nicely refunded part of our stay. This place could be a really welcoming rental but should not be until it has been thoroughly improved and the owner knows the rules of VRBO.

Regarding the informative tour you mentioned, our records show that there was an agreement via text the day before your stay to conduct a brief tour due to the unique features of our property. Typically, this tour lasts about 15 minutes, although it may extend by an extra 5 minutes should guests have more questions.
  
  We also wanted to mention that the owner attempted to contact you about your van's door being left open, but there was no response. After waiting for a short while, she approached the house to inform you directly, ensuring your belongings' security. We always aim to communicate with our guests in a manner that's both professional and respectful. If our tone seemed off or came across as too stern, we sincerely apologize. We assure you that our intention is to maintain a calm and gentle approach in all our interactions.
  
  On the note of dust within the home, it's crucial for the sliding patio and front doors to be promptly closed to prevent dust from entering, especially during unexpected mini wind gusts. Please be assured, the interior has been recently maintained with fresh paint and thorough cleaning.
  
  The shower head installed complies with California's water conservation regulations, part of our commitment to sustainability. Regarding the spa issue you encountered, it was addressed the following morning by a skilled neighbor to minimize any inconvenience.
  
  The offer for the owner to stay in the sound-proof studio with a private entrance was made with your comfort and assistance in mind, though we understand you declined and chose to leave unexpectedly, leaving the front door unlocked. We're relieved to report there were no subsequent issues from this.
  
  We're grateful for the opportunity to host hundreds of satisfied guests over the past 3.5 years, many of whom return to stay with us again. We wish you all the best in your future travels and are here to ensure a more seamless and enjoyable experience for all our guests.

  Loved the house and especially the backyard with the hot tub and pool Very comfortable and fun to stay there. And they were dog friendly too! We may stay there again and would encourage others with a well-behaved dog to stay there.
