Great House, long uphill hike
5/5 This is a very nice large sunny clean house with tons of space, tons of sunlight, beautiful location and view. It had a fish pond, a chicken coop and a large redwood tree on property. Absolutely beautiful. The one challenge is a 200-300 hike uphill to the house. There is no Parking near the house and if you have anyone with difficulty walking uphill, don't stay there.

5/5 Great house, very comfortable and spacious. Long uphill walk (120 steps) to front door so not for everybody but our 5 adult males found it challenging but manageable. Well located, safe neighborhood. Beautiful piano and guitar were available for our use. Fresh eggs can be collected from the on premises chicken coop. Our only recommendation for improvement would be a coffee machine for the kitchen. Very responsive, helpful owner.

5/5 Great house: spacious and comfortable for 5 adult men in the area for a friend reunion. Nice piano and guitar for use by guests as well as a chicken coop providing fresh eggs! Long uphill walk (126 steps) may provide a challenge to some guests but was manageable for us. The only item lacking is a coffee maker which the owner states she will provide for future guests. 5 stars!
Great choice for a big group
5/5 This home offered a comfortable stay in a unique environment, convenient to the UC campus in a quiet neighborhood, with grocery and shopping and dining very walkable. We enjoyed walking to the corner grocery most days for provisions. Set back from the road, you walk through a lovely garden, with koi pond and chicken roost to get to the front door. The primary living area opens to the comfortable back yard great for morning coffee and all day play for the kids.
Peaceful urban oasis
5/5 We enjoyed staying in this gorgeous home so much! Everyone in the family appreciated something different: the well appointed kitchen, the cozy family room for vegging out, the trampoline, and then it's a few blocks from great coffee and local grocery store. The beautiful spaces are welcoming and homey at the same time as feeling impeccably designed. There was loads of space for our three kids to have their own rooms and play outside, while I enjoyed working remotely in the office with huge windows for natural light. We had a great stay in this Berkeley neighborhood and highly recommend.
