Overall, a Nice Stay
4/5 The house was quite nice and suited the six of us just fine. We had a comfortable stay. Having only one bathroom was a bit of an inconvenience, but we knew that was the situation going in, so no complaints there. Some basic creature comforts were missing: A baking pan, placemats, napkins, a hair dryer. I would suggest that owners provide these items. The backyard was not really a usable space, though it seemed the owners might be working on it. When/if they get it fixed up, this will really be a nice property.
In regards to the location, it was a little far away from our daughter at Cal Poly Humboldt, and not quite close enough to the beach to make it worth being that far away. For that reason, we likely won't choose to stay here again when we visit.

Cleaning and Home Concerns
2/5 Basics were Ok: beds,kitchen and bathroom. Yet we find cleaning issues with 3 appliances. Back door does not securely lock and can be easily pushed open in spite of the doorknob lock setting, this caused a safety concern.
TV streaming service cut out unexpectedly a couple of times.
Birds were nesting in the roof corners and could be heard early in the morning from all 3 bedrooms.
Spiritual statue and bedroom spiritual art created an unwelcome feeling.
A note and email about these concerns were sent to the home contact , but no response was acknowledged.
