• Enjoyed the location of this townhouse in Tucson - could use more attention on renters needs

  Development is nice and location was very handy to get to hiking spots on the NW side of Tucson, also close to grocery and some restaurants. Townhouse recently remodeled and one of the first to stay there. Owner not responsive on emails, need to text. Had several problems - hot water turned all the way low, which we learned how to fix from owner from what appeared to be a locked garage closet; water leaking significantly through vent in 2nd bathroom - owner had someone come out to fix but took several days and we had no idea when someone would be coming; fireplace didn't work - worker also took care of after a couple days without; kitchen could use more basic items like can opener (which owner did have someone bring over while we were prepping dinner), strainer, more than 3 wine glasses, vegetable peeler, pizza cutter, rubber spatula, more tablespoons etc. Also could have used a basic instruction guide for house and complex - like where passes/keys are for clubhouse and pools and how to use those, how you have to keep a separate switch on to send power to work button by garbage disposal, where to park cars, and garage code. Also sandals and ball were left under master bed from previous renter or owner. More attention to these rental needs and maintenance items would have provided much better experience and higher rating. Lastly, wasn't aware that VRBO works with other rental companies and this reservation was passed to Evolve, which we didn't realize and weren't familiar

• Nice House for Week Stay.

  We are locals with a dog who needed a week rental while our house was getting repaired. This is a nice quiet stay in a very quiet neighborhood. The house was very comfortable and location was within walking distance to grocery store, Udall park and a number of restaurants and our favorite gelato store. Kitchen has limited supplies if you are cooking meals but fine if you plan on visiting the local eateries. Neighborhood has a community pool and some walking paths which we didn’t use but are available.

  Good communication with owner about a couple of items we needed. Response was immediate

• Shell of a home

  This home is for sale and not fit for cooking in. The utensils were floppy and useless. The water heater was not on until we turned it on ourselves. reoccuring issues with wifi.

  There was a concerning lack of communication with host previous to check in regarding the reservation. the beds were comfortable and the fridge was cold. the location was convenient for my family during a funeral.
