Your download speeds with the number of devices were on average 20 mbs with our only available satellite carrier at the time of your stay. We are happy to inform you that Starlink is now in our area and we just received our package for installation which will greatly enhance the WiFi experience. As a cyclist, we know how nice it is to just ride out from our place and suck in all that Tuscon has to offer. Come stay again, you and your riding buddies were great guests!

  • Great property!


    We enjoyed staying here during our family trip to Tucson! It made a great home base for exploring and a welcome retreat when we needed to unwind. It felt private and secluded without being out of the way. Our kids had fun playing in the backyard while we enjoyed our coffee in the morning. I especially enjoyed watching the birds! When we needed a break, we were able to order delicious food from nearby restaurants and eat on the patio. Beds were comfortable and the trundle bed was perfect for our 3 year old! We would stay here again.

  • Celebration of Life weekend


    The house and yard were perfect. We were 4 adults and one toddler. We were able to visit with family and friends in the beautiful backyard. The home is in a beautiful area near several places to hike. Ed was very helpful on several occassions and always responded quickly. We would be happy to stay here again!

  • A Very Disappointing Stay


    Don’t be fooled by the premium price tag on this house. There is nothing upscale about it. The accommodations are merely average and there is a serious lack of attention to detail.

    My stay was from 12/24/22 – 1/4/23. We had no internet for the first three days, and when it was finally fixed, we could not get download speeds above 2 Mbps. I had to use my personal hotspot for work and on all our other personal devices for the entire stay.

    The entertainment setup is terrible. There are four nice smart TVs in the house, but no way to watch any streaming services because the TVs are not connected to the internet. The Dish Hopper remotes are set up so that the only action guests can take is to watch the Dish channels. It’s been years since I was tied to an over-the-air, wired system.

    There was no covering on the master bedroom window. No curtains, no blinds, not even a temporary shade – just a big bare window. The owner told me blinds were on order, but what good did that do me? So there was no privacy, and we were up early with the sun every morning.

    There were light bulbs either not working or burnt out all around the house - some in the kitchen, one above the breakfast table, and outside the house at the front door.

    If the rest of the house was average, the kitchen was even less so. We pulled several dirty dishes from the cabinets. The essentials were non-existent. We didn’t even get a whole roll of paper towels or dish soap. I had to buy those, along with salt and pepper. Many of the kitchen items look like they were thrifted or from a garage sale. There were lots of random pieces that looked well-used. There was also no blender, mixer, or crockpot. Just a very basic set of pots with one small baking sheet.

    The breakfast nook window has a beautiful view of the mountains and sunset, but they are impossible to see because there’s no mechanism for sliding the blinds open.

    The floors were not clean. We had to keep our shoes on because our socks were getting filthy. I literally bought slippers from Target that I threw away after our stay.

    There is no house manual. The only instructions/rules were what was included in the confirmation email from Evolve.

    Speaking of Evolve, I’m deducting one star for their role. Although I emailed them several times throughout our stay, I didn’t even get an acknowledgment, let alone a response from them.

    I would not recommend this property, nor would I recommend booking any property with Evolve.

    -We're sorry that our home did not exceed your expectations. We can assure you that it is just as advertised online. We also provide all the information about the property, such as the amenities home size, and nightly rates before booking to ensure guests find the perfect vacation home for their needs
    -We apologize for the inconvenience of the Wifi shutting down for the first three days of your stay. While we want our guests to enjoy their stay here, sometimes external factors like the internet are simply out of our control. We did our best to address all of your concerns during your stay
    -Regarding the WI-FI we have not been informed of this before by past travelers. We currently have the best internet we can find in our location. We know how frustrating it is when you cannot access the internet
    -We take pride in ensuring our home is serviced professionally before each guest. Our cleaners provide us with excellent service, consistently. We use a cleaning service to have the home professionally cleaned before each guest's arrival, and our ground services team is meticulous in their cleaning and sterilization. We'll collaborate with our cleaning team since this is not consistent with our cleaning expectations to ensure this issue does not recur for future guests. We've never received any complaints, on the contrary, prior guests have mentioned how clean everything was in their past 5-star reviews
    -It's highly important to us that our guests are given the essentials for their stay to have what they need to be comfortable. We provide a well-stocked home with enough paper goods, including trash bags, paper towels, toilet paper, and essentials such as shampoo/conditioner to accommodate the house for the current occupancy
    -We sincerely apologize for the light issues you were having with the fixtures since this is not consistent with our expectations. We were happy to have them replaced while in residence. We provide guests with great hospitality and are responsive to your requests and questions
    -Regarding the blinds in the kitchen, as there is an amazing view of the mountains, the mechanism functions properly. They move to the side by a push-pull rod on the left side, but we apologize that this caught you off guard
    -From us here at Evolve we sincerely apologize that our communication and response times impacted your stay. We'd like to clarify that this does not reflect the owner or property and Evolve takes full responsibility. We are increasing our staffing to ensure we can respond more quickly to guests moving forward
    -We have since confirmed with Evolve that you reached out to Evolve after your stay and were provided we hope the generous measures taken to make things right helped make up for any inconvenience
    We apologize that your experience with Evolve was less than satisfactory, however, the owner works hard to provide an ideal stay for all guests, and we look forward to this home hosting many happy travelers!
