  I did not appreciate the invasion of my privacy by a surveillance camera on a tree that pointed directly at the front of the house, the driveway and the front porch. I would not have booked this place if I had been advised about the camera up front. So much for a peaceful, private retreat!

  The camera you mentioned was installed several years ago after we encountered a serious issue with flooding and property damage from past guests who violated our House Rules. It was intended solely for the protection of our home and to ensure the safety and security of all our guests. The camera is positioned to monitor the exterior areas, such as the driveway and front porch, and is not intended to invade anyone's personal space or interfere with their peaceful stay.
  
  We appreciate your comments and understand how important it is to clearly communicate such details upfront. We will ensure that future guests are fully informed about the presence of the camera so that they can make an informed decision when booking.

  1. The central air in home did not work, house was 90 degrees upon entry into home. When AC was turned on only produced warm air, did not produce cool air. Attempted contact, with no answer the first time, sent email - no reply. Called again and was informed the AC did not work and had to use the portable units, was not familiar with these types of units.2. No instructions for the TV and unable to watch local news or national news.3. Ice maker had no water source, therefore was unable to produce ice and had to purchase ice during stay.

  Mother and I loved the home in which we stayed, beautiful layout, beautiful style, very comfortable. Just a few things that we found that we an ivconviencene.

  1. Upon on entering the home the temp in the home was 90 degrees. The HVAC did not work, the home had portable units which we were not familiar with. After a two calls and an email to the unit manager that was straightened out.

  2. The water source to the refrigerator ice make is not connected, therefore had to purchase ice, was not pleased with this inconvenience, especially after driving for 16 hours.

  3. The television is a smart tv and not cable is not available to view local news or national news, and difficulty for an elderly person to navigate and no instructions for use.
