Terrible experience - non communicative host, no accountbility from VBRO.
1/5 VRBO listed this place, managed by Evolve. We have loved VRBO but this was a lemon from day one. Zero responsiveness from host. Wrong gate codes, garbage piled up outside, pool not clean. Evolve responsive but ineffective. No apology from host, no information. We left after one short night.
Evolve at least refunded the money we paid them. VRBO did not. Very communicative, and kind, but not budging.
The most annoying thing other than a wasted day of vacation finding an moving to another place was not the lack of accountablity for the host, or VRBO, but the fact that a similar review of the place was made just before our stay.

Nice House but owner was a no show
2/5 The house itself was very nice. However the instructions on how to use the amenities were basically nonexistent. The property manager referred us to the owner (they said they didn't even have anyone in the Phoenix area). The owner was totally unresponsive. When the outside lights and the hot tub quit working after the second day, he emailed us to the User's manual - which was no help. Although we rented the house for 2 weeks, we went home after 6 days.
