• Not quite what we expected

  Homey place. Photos made the place look larger and newer than the actual place. Very lived in vibe. Felt a little dirty. Downstairs porch all messy upon arrival as if not cleaned from previous use. Our joke was you might fall through the floor- as it had aged and shifted through the years. Things missing like remote control for tv.

  We deeply regret that our home did not meet your expectations. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience or dissatisfaction you may have experienced during your stay. Our utmost priority is to provide a warm and welcoming environment for all our guests.
  We want to inform you that the entire house underwent a comprehensive renovation in 2019, encompassing every aspect, from the roof down to the flooring. Furthermore, a structural engineer conducted a thorough assessment in 2019, confirming the property's structural integrity. The flooring in the main level bathroom and lower level room was recently replaced in November 2023. We apologize if our 4-level, 2800 sq. ft. home did not meet your size expectations.
  Please note that during this time of year, the outside decks may accumulate some pollen from the surrounding mature pine trees. Our dedicated housekeeping team works tirelessly to maintain a professional standard of cleanliness.
  The carpets and windows were diligently cleaned on March 29th, 2024, and you checked in five days later. We sincerely apologize for the misplaced TV remote control. Rest assured that our housekeeping staff has been promptly informed, and they will ensure that the remotes are appropriately assigned to each TV.

• Thanksgiving Getaway

  Everything was absolutely lovely! We decided to have Thanksgiving away. The owners decorated the house for us which added a special touch. We have a large family and there was plenty of room for all! The downstairs area was great for the kids and my 3 year old granddaughter absolutely loved the little “reading nook” at the top! The view was incredible!

  Communication with the owners was fast and easy. They even checked on us while we were there.

  We would absolutely stay there again!

  House was very nice and plenty of space for everyone with a great view, hiking right out your back door, nice deck, fire pit did not work. Quick access to everything but, good feel for the outdoors, furniture could use a little updating but, all in all the house was super and very comfortable, no complaints!

  Beautiful spacious home with all amenities you can dream of. Great host and lovely views. Easily accessible from interstate and in close proximity to all attractions. A peaceful getaway that feels like home.
