From the Owner: "Thanks for renting from us and taking great care of our cabin. "We hope to see you again soon."
We had the best time at creekside hideaway!! The cabin was clean and spacious for a family of 6 +2 dogs. It was private and the creek was a hidden gem!! Would love to return in the future!
Cabin was cute, beautiful property, very secluded. Nice fire pit, grill etc. it could have been better cleaned but all in all the cabin was great. The only issue is that the listing said creek access. That was the main reason we chose this listing. We were on the creek and was met by a man named Reggie Harrell who informed us we were trespassing. That he is aware of the cabins listing as creek access but it is actually private property. He was kind about it, but wanted us to leave a review letting other know that there is no creek access with this particular listing..

Hi Veronica, we’re glad to hear you enjoyed the cabin and the beautiful, secluded property. After sharing your feedback with the homeowner, they wanted to address a few of the points you raised:
-We regret the confusion regarding the creek access. We provide all contact information to ensure that any concerns can be addressed promptly. Had we been informed during your stay, we would have resolved the issue with Reggie, as this is not the first time this misunderstanding has occurred, and we have taken steps to address it.
-As for the cleanliness and guest capacity, we strive to maintain high standards and ask that guests adhere to our house rules for everyone’s comfort and safety. While your reservation was for 5 adults, we noted that there were more individuals than the allowed occupancy, which can affect both the experience and condition of the cabin. We also expect our guests to reach out if anything is not up to expectations so we can rectify it during their stay.
Your review is noted.
The property was beautiful, well kept, fully stocked, and so close to the creek. The kitchen had everything you could possibly need. There was a washer and dryer with laundry soap and softener. There's a balcony/raised porch with seating to relax and chat outside. There's lots of board games and Netflix and Hulu to keep the kids entertained. There's a firepit to roast hot dogs and make smores and a nice propane grill with propane provided to cook out. My family enjoyed all of these things. The creek is just a short walk downhill. It's a little steep, but not too difficult to trek. The walk back uphill was a little more difficult, but could be managed and was worth it to wade and skip rocks in the creek below. You could step out a ways into the water before it was deep and it got deep further out for the more experienced swimmers. I do recommend some water shoes, because the rocks in the creekbed did hurt somewhat to walk on barefoot. The only complaint I have is about GPS. The homeowner warned about it being unreliable and advised to print the directions and I failed to do so which resulted in Maps leading us across the creek onto private property and encountered and extremely ugly and irrate homeowner. I was shocked at how red his face was with anger over an honest mistake. I recommend using the Waze app. My sister used it and found the place without any trouble. Avoid Ledges Rd where the nasty homeowner lived and instead search for QMC Rd.

This property was located near the end of a dead end road. It was so very peaceful. The porch was awesome. We could hear the creek running.
