  • Not a bad little spot

    4/5

During the school year the intersection immediately next to the house is very loud and busy.

Amenities within the property were fine. Hot water, great pressure.

    Would probably stay again.

  • Nice place but lacks some things

    3/5

The house was very nice and clean. Good place to park and easy in and out. Back yard was overgrown and badly needed to be mowed. The kitchen needs some attention. Very few pots and pans. Nothing at all in the cabinets, not even salt and pepper. Toaster did not work. There were also no extra trash bags. Overall a really nice place but needs a little more to make it welcoming for guests.

  • Home Away from Home

    4/5

The house seems very small and unassuming from the outside, but inside reminds me of my grandmother's house... in the *best* way! Quirky furnishings ranging from 100 year old dressers to brand-new Ikea finds, all work together to make this property feel real and lived in.

The living space is large and open, with plenty of seating. The kitchen is serviceable for cooking or serving easy meals (I wouldn't cook Thanksgiving here, but a steak and pasta meal would be possible). The freezer ice machine didn't work, but they supplied us with old-school ice trays, which was nice.

The master bedroom is relatively big, with enough room to maneuver, but it is tight around the sides of the bed, to make room for getting in and out of the bathroom. The master bath is a full, but small, bathroom, with a toilet/sink/shower. We preferred to use the hall bath which was bigger, and had a bathtub (the hot water is amazing!).

There is also a laundry room with a full-size washer and dryer, but we didn't use those while we were there.

Getting in and out of the property to main roads was very easy, with two main roads within access, depending on which way you went. Lots of fast food, restaurant, and shopping options, too.

I came to Jboro to see the 2024 eclipse (wow!), and I was able to watch it from the backyard... no need to go anywhere else! Overall, this was a great home, in a great location, that fit my needs perfectly. I'd stay again in a heartbeat, if I ever found myself in Jboro again.

  • Good time in Jonesboro

    4/5

We enjoyed our time in the home. It could use some upgrades but it served our purpose well.
