We were very pleased with our cabin getaway on Beaver Lake! It was a cute, welcoming environment. The cabin was spacious, bedrooms and bathrooms were clean, appliances were nice, and the AC worked great in the 100 degree weather! It was a beautiful, secluded location. Our kids (5 and 7) enjoyed the backyard play set and board games. We grilled on the charcoal grill. I had mentioned grilling in an email to the property manager and he even brought out some extra to make sure we had plenty. He was prompt and helpful in our communication. The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed. We brought our own fishing gear and spent the day fishing and swimming from the private dock. We used their kayaks, too - they had 2 youth kayaks that our kids loved. We just had a really great time! We would definitely go back. Next time, we may take a wagon for hauling our stuff from the cabin to the lake. It was a little walk when taking kids and all our gear. But we did just fine! Great, great place and we would definitely recommend staying here!

Overall a great place. One bottom bunk desperately needs a decent mattress. Felt like I was sleeping directly on the metal bunk frame. There seems to be a critter in the ceiling or walls. We could hear it scratching around. The dock had everything we needed. Was a bit of a drive to the closest store.
