  • Good for a short stay

    We needed something with 4 beds so we found this home. It is charming and had what was needed but the air conditioning does not work well on the top floor however the bottom floor gets freezing. We also saw 2 really large cockroaches that probably came in through a secret hole somewhere. They were a little creepy but luckily were not in the bedrooms. The house has some updates and worked for what we needed but I would recommend the AC being fixed to properly cool the entire home.

    Hi Jamie, thank you for taking the time to leave this review. We are sorry that you experienced any inconvenience during your stay. The homeowners asked us to provide a little more context to the situation you experienced:
    - We understand it can be frustrating when unexpected issues arrive during your vacation. However, without being notified of the issue we are unable to resolve the situation.
    - We have had an HVAC technician inspect the unit. They found that one of the vents had come loose from the unit and the air was not able to move through the house.  It has been repaired.  
    - We will also be going to the property before the next guests to personally inspect the property.
    We do all we can within our control to make the best possible stay, and we look forward to this property hosting many satisfied guests.

    The listing highlighted the outdoor fire pit, but after checking in, the house rules said absolutely no fires.

    But the laundry facilities were nice and well stocked.

    It would have been nice to have a reading lamp somewhere in the house.

    The Benton Bungalow was awesome. It had every thing we needed and more. It felt like home and was beautifully decorated. It was clean and smelled great. I will definitely check for availability for our next stay. Thank you
