Family Vacation
4/5 We had a great time! The kids loved the water, paddle boarding and swimming around the dock. It was quiet and close to lots of things to do. There are a LOT of steps to the water, that was the only slight downfall.

Great location; needs some work
3/5 The location was super - right on the lake. The kitchen & primary bath are nicely updated. The light fixture in the primary & several outlets didn’t work. We also had a weird experience as the property owners are selling the house & didn’t give us a heads up they might be showing it while we were there. Unfortunately, without my permission, they gave my name & phone number to the RE agent. I felt very pressured to be out of the house to let out-of-town potential buyers look at it. Additionally, I received emails about the check-in process but none had the door code. I had to ask a couple of times.
One last thing - the stairs down to the dock are pretty rough; they do have a handrail, but definitely not for the elderly or mobility-challenged. Also, there was only one paddle for 2 paddle boards & no grill.

Good fishing!
4/5 I would suggest you bring your own lawn chairs if you plan on enjoying the deck. Also, be careful descending the 140 railroad tie steps down to the dock...some are getting wobbly. Luckily there are rope handrails. It's steep since you are going down to the lake...just keep in mind it's taxing even if you are in fairly good shape. Since the house is on the market, you may be asked to allow showings. The only reason this was a little inconvenient was there is only one key to the front door. You will enjoy your stay especially if you like watching deer, birds, and chipmunks...very peaceful location.
