This small apartment provided the essentials for short stay in Montgomery: an effective air conditioner, a bed and a futon, an effective shower, a small refrigerator, a small freezer, a small stove top, a small sink, wi-fi, off-street parking, and a place to relax once the day was done, which includes a nice back yard and grill if one is so inclined.
The host provided towels and other necessities for the stay, such as plates & cups and the various appliances in the photos.
Functionally, it was a little less than a motel suite that one might find at Extended Stay America, for a little less per night.
It had much more character, however, and a significant degree of privacy in the Capitol Heights neighborhood of Montgomery -- as opposed to being on the Eastern bypass. It even provided seat cushions for 'bama and Auburn fans to choose between.
Overall, it was cute, small, cozy, and sufficiently functional at this price point for my week-long stay.
I was glad that there was public transportation not far away which enabled me to take the bus downtown on a straight route which took only 15-20 minutes. Though the transportation system is not extensive and the wait for the bus can be long. I did not feel unsafe at anytime and the the average person you meet in Montgomery was friendly and helpful.
I was not pleased with the apartment and would not stay there again.
Lovely spot! Sandra and her team were great. She has created a lovely vibe! Thanks

I especially liked the decor. Sandra made the place interesting with colorful details and artwork. She also provided immediate help with a problem I encountered. She is very dedicated to making the stay at her VRBO as pleasant as possible. I recommend this rental to others.
