• Things to know before you book.

  The reason for our stay my sisters and myself came from Texas to spread our mothers ashes.The home itself was overall nice and in a older nice neighbor hood. Location was close enough to what we needed.The kitchen aminities were lacking compaired to other rentals. 1 small skillet and pot, 3 plates and no siler ware .So we adjusted our plans and ate out.The dryer was overloaded with soured sheets. Dirty towels were on top of dryer and in the chair in the laundry room when we arrived.Several places in the floor were warped and caused servral cloose calls for balance issues for older guest.The middle bedroom light fixture required us to get a ladder to turn it on. We had to get cording from our car to make the chain longer.Luggage from previous guest was left in one bedroom and personal items left throught the house made us question effectiveness of the cleaning crew.Bedroom tv's didn't have remotes so it made it difficult for multipule guests to watch TV.The beds were comfortable but the planes, trains, and barking dogs all throughout the night made getting to sleep, and staying asleep an issue for all of us.I regret that for this reason alone my family would not rebook or could we reccomend this home.We were face with an 8 hour drive back home exausted.

  * This house have had not maintenance for years (dirty all around, walls not painted, mattresses smell, TVs don't work, floors are warped and planks separated, chairs and rugs are all stained, backyard is messy, shower door hard to open or close, shower faucet is either cold or scolding hot. dishwasher is not installed properly ( it is loose, comes out from under the cabinet when you open it), kitchen cabinets are missing doors, and the bottom cabinets have water marks as if the kitchen was flooded) missing end panels. * No hand soap or cleaning supplies anywhere* Train whistle all night long (impossible to sleep, should be mentioned on description)* Nothing is like on the website pictures* Disappointing.

• Stay away

  This place was awful. One shower had no shower curtain bar or shower curtain, the dishwasher kept walking itself out from the cabinet when running, the floors feels like they are about to fall through, a towel bar was missing a bracket and the bar was gone, no WiFi instructions, had hair in the “clean” towels, some towels were visibly stained, sheets on the beds were not even fully dry. I could go on. Sent the local contact a text and voicemail asking if the shower curtain and lack of basic supplies like soap could be remedied. Her response was, “Excuse me?!” That’s it. No help at all. VRBO and other platforms should consider removing this property. Evolve should also drop them. Evolve offered me a $27 credit for our troubles. Ha!
