Charming cottage
5/5 Very cozy. Retro feel like going to stay at grandma’s house on the lake. The lake views were amazing. Wish we had had time to go fishing! Would stay again. The host was great. Communicated quickly and pleasantly.

Enjoyed our stay
4/5 Pros- beautiful views! Overhang on the porch was nice so we could still sit outside even when it was raining. Highlight LOTS of hummingbirds approached the feeders so close to us! Beds in bedrooms comfortable. Host was VERY responsive.
Cons- it is older just be aware of that especially in terms of bathrooms & kitchen. But still met our needs.
Note: grocery stores & restaurants are not just around the corner or down the street. Just need to plan accordingly

4/5 We enjoyed the quiet, relaxing atmosphere. Sitting on the deck enjoying the view was so pleasant. Nice, comfortable beds.

Home away from home vibes
4/5 This is a cute property and has been made to feel like home. 2 bathrooms 3 bedrooms 2 pull out couches-we did not use, a washer and dryer and a fully functioning kitchen,-no dishwasher-unless you count yourself as one. We loved our stay. Our Athens Alabama experience was amazing. This property is right on the shore of the Elk River. On the balcony at night you can hear the coyotes scream and in the early hours of the morning you can hear the turkey's gooble. Very beautiful and very cool. We loved it and will be back.
