We just spend a wonderful 4 days on Lake Eufala, relaxing and catching up. This place is amazing! There were 6 in our group, ourselves and our adult children. The living room has tons of seating, and they're all really comfy. The home is very open and spacious, so you're never feeling like you're on top of each other. It could easily accommodate a much, much larger group.Wifi and satellite TV both worked great, and there's a large collection of DVDs. The hot tub was huge! It was only used once because of the warm weather, but it was a big hit. We were there during a heat wave, so the screen porch with ceiling fans was a big hit. But there is also an open deck that would be great for enjoying the sun. Not into the outdoors? The AC is great, and the upstairs and downstairs are separately controlled, so everyone was comfortable. The slope to the water is gentle, and we brought kayaks which we launched right from the property. There's a very nice boathouse, so it would be great to bring your own boat if you have one. We did a little fishing and swimming from the dock. The host, Michelle, is very attentive and was very quick to respond any time I had a question. I just can't say enough good things about this property. If you're looking for total relaxation, this is your place.

We loved our stay at your wonderful home.
We had our high school fishing team stay in the cabin which included 12 people total. The cabin was great and the location worked well. Everyone had plenty of room. We were able to back 4 21 foot fishing boats down the driveway each day of our stay. I would recommend this cabin for anyone staying in the area.
Overall good stay. Nice property.

The house is wonderful, property is pretty clean. I think housekeeping could do a better job, especially outside as everything was covered with more than an inch of pollen when we arrived. I know this is seasonal thing but it’s a porch and could easily be rinsed down with a hose. The roof of the house leaks in the back which is eventually going to rot out the wall as it flows down through the wall and onto the back porch. The garage is not a 2 car garage unless you drive something smaller than a prius, matter of fact it won’t even close with a Maxima in there. Also the drive is not accessible for bringing a boat to the property, you can back it down the drive but even that is a real pain (I have 20’ bass boat for comparison). Also the “welcome book” inside the house states that there is access to a “private” launch but I was never once told about this nor do I know where this launch is. There is an oak tree down close to the house on the driveway side that is completely dead, top is already falling out of it so beware of this because according to the way it falls could hit the house/garage area, the small detached carport or any other area of the carport. Also the roads going into this home are extremely rough, (I have been on dirt roads that are way smoother), I know this is not the property owners fault just warning people to drive careful. As far as the house itself everything was good and everything worked fine. Just believe their could be a little more detail to the advertisement to explain some of these concerns. Property owners need to be aware of these things in my opinion. As far as the booking process, checkin and check out that was all smooth.

Hi Lance, the homeowner would like to share the following: "Thank you for the constructive criticisms - we view this as an opportunity to improve our home! We took your comments to heart and went to the property immediately. We worked with our cleaners, did many deep cleaning jobs, did repairs, had the dangerous tree cut down, and thankfully the county was repairing the road as we were there. We hope you'll return to give us another chance for a 5-star review!"
