A great family getaway!
5/5 A fantastic Amish experience!! The house had everything we needed plus more! A great location close to Shipshewana town but still feel out in the country. Clean and beautiful and a lovely family!! We will be back!

A quiet, peaceful weekend immersed in Amish hospitality & culture!
5/5 We didn't know what to expect when booking Lonnie's rental. It turned out to be an amazing experience and a wonderful blessing. It got us out of the busyness of our normal lives, and we found real peace and enjoyment in an unhurried, simpler living style. No TV, no radio, no wifi - unplug and unclutter your mind.
Lonnie and Joyce are wonderful people and great hosts. They are very welcoming, and invite you to see some of their life and land. We learned so much about the Amish culture and have a much deeper respect for it now.
When visiting the area, per Lonnie's recommendation: visit the Menno-Hof center in Shipshewana. You won't be sorry, and you'll learn a lot along the way.
This is definitely a stay we will make again in the near future. Highly recommend it!

Pumpkin Vine Trail
5/5 We drove up to Shipshewana from southern indiana to purchase ebikes from Otto water and Bicycles. We wanted to spend a few days riding the pumpkin 🎃 vine trail and area. We really enjoyed are stay and the house was clean and the yard. Bed was comfortable. Will recommend and stay again. Thanks
