clean comfortable rooms
I stayed at the condo in the spring with some friends, the condo was great. It was very clean and the attention to detail was awesome! Very spacious, since our stay was in the spring we spent a lot of time in the unit and we had plenty of space to spread out. We loved the view overlooking the lake as well. Would definately stay here again.
Condo was very clean and had a great view. Balcony overlooking the water was perfect to enjoy a morning cup of coffee!
There are two parts to this review.
1. The actual building and complex and location of the unit was amazing. Very nice area and very quiet. That part was pleasant.
2. The second part which involved the actual unit and property management and communication … which was s***. When we got on the island, we called our guest contact because the email that was sent to us to check in told us to pick up our key. When we arrived at the destination outlined in the email, the place was closed. We called the guest contact and he didn’t even have our reservation in his calendar and had to look it up. During this time we had to wait for him to call us back to give us the code to get in. Then the place was dusty all over and the mattress pad had dead skin and bugs all over it. I always check the beds for bugs anywhere I go. I had to wash all the bedding and clean the entire unit before I could get settled in.
NOW THE BIG ISSUE… THE MANAGEMENT OF THE UNIT DID NOT TELL A CONTRACTOR WHO HAD WORK TO DO ON THE UNIT WE WERE THERE AND HE OPENED THE DOOR ON US WHILE MY HUSBAND WAS IN THE THE BATHROOM WITH THE DOOR OPEN GETTING READY. Told the guest contact and nothing was done and I reached out to evolve who is managing the property and havent heard back. This is a huge safety issue when someone can just go in to where you are staying because there was no communication that someone was there.
I would not recommend renting this unit. The complex has other units available.

-We sincerely apologize for the access issues you experienced upon check-in and that our communication and response times impacted your stay. We understand the owners did not hear from you regarding cleanliness until the day before your departure. We wish you would have reached out to the owner or guest contact immediately. We would've been more than happy to send our cleaning team to address your concerns
-Guest safety is our number one priority so we take incidents like this very seriously. The contractor was to replace a door and make other improvements to the unit and we should have informed you prior to arrival. It was an honest mistake and he apologized vigorously. A short time later, a complaint was made to the onsite manager about the contractor walking in, the onsite manager also apologized and reassured you no other contractors would enter the unit. We sincerely apologize for the issues you experienced and we do hope the partial refund granted helped make up for the inconvenience you faced
