  From the Owner: "Thank you for taking the time to review the property. Glad that for the most part you enjoyed the interior and felt it was well equipped. We take a lot of pride in providing a clean and private stay for all our guests. If you are able to share photos I will pass these along to the cleaner/management company to make sure all issues are addressed
  
  We did previously fix the nails on the chairs on the dining room furniture. We also periodically check to make sure there are no issues with the furniture and will continue to do so or will find a replacement but the furniture was expensive and does fit well with the decor of the home and the area.
  
  I was at the home two weeks prior to your stay and thoroughly cleaned the exterior stairs, deck and grill. I will make sure the cleaner pays extra attention to this area as part of the routine cleaning. We also ask mower to bow off any debris generated from mowing.
  
  This is a duplex, lawn is mowed every two weeks on the side associated with the unit you rented. The other side of the duplex is owned by a different owner which is not maintained at the same frequency but is also the other owners property and not part of the property for this unit. This is a rural area and bugs should be expected when outside in the summer months.
  
  Will look into your comment on the driveway. I know recently there have been storms with heavy rains which could cause the town road at the end of the driveway to washout but not sure when the town will address the road. If not soon I will address it.
  
  There is outdoor lighting on the front and back steps and a large flood light that shines on the driveway. All exterior lights have switches just inside the front door and can be used at guest discretion.
  
  Sorry to hear you felt the one shower was small. It is accurately shown in the listing photos and the home also has three other showers/tubs is additional space is needed.

• Weekend Stay

  We had three families stay at the house for a weekend getaway and ski at Gore. Location was great. Listing is misleading as it shows a full house but it is only part of the home. Listing should be updated to state townhome or duplex. There was a lot of dust bunnies and cobwebs in some of the bedrooms. When the kids were playing in the basement and had to get something under the couch they brought out beer cans, goldfish and dust bunnies from under the couch. The chairs in the dinning room ripped holes in three people’s pants since the nails were sticking up. We had to push them back in and ended up putting a barrier over one of the nails. I notified the contact all I received was I’ll tell the owner and nothing else. If you are looking for a comfy place to relax on the couch and sit by the fire this is not the place. The couches on the main level are not comfortable. We mostly sat on the floor or at the dinning room table with caution. We did have a great time and skiing at Gore was wonderful. If we go back to ski we will find a different place to stay for the price and cleanliness.

  Very comfortable beds, clean property. Town was great and not too far from Lake George where we took the grandchildren to see Dino Roar Valley.
