• Great Cabin and Great Hosts

  Rented this cabin for a week to record some of my crappy music. Property is nice and remote. Everything was great there. My car's battery died the morning I was leaving and the owners let us stay in the house past the check out time until help arrived.

• winter ski house

  Like the house overall BUT:

  -not clean, needs repairs and maintenance

  -some minor issues:

  door wont lock from outside, dishwasher no power, water leaking onto floor by pool table, outside grill has issue with gas supply so couldn't use, difficult to find where garbage would go outside and when found past garbage was there for what seems like months

  Owner's response: "Paul, we want all of our guests to rest easy when they stay with us, and we're sorry that you experienced some issues during your trip.
  
  - We take cleanliness very seriously and have never had this complaint before, we will relay this information to the cleaning team so that this is not an issue in the future.
  - We wish you had reached out about the repairs and maintenance issues you found, we were unsure what you were talking about. We can't take care of things if we don't know what the issues are. If you feel comfortable please reach out we are open to suggestions.
  - When you reached out about the front door we did text you a tip on getting it locked, it does need an adjustment and we will get that taken care of right away.
  - We were experiencing some power issues with it going in and out due to storms in the area, we have decided to replace the dishwasher and everything is working fine.
  - Due to the storms in the area the week before your stay, the water had overfilled the catch basin, we have cleaned that up and the leak is no longer an issue.
  - We did have a backup tank for the grill it just needed to be switched over, we were not aware that the tank was empty.
  - We ask that the garbage go into the shed next to the driveway to deter any critters that may get in. We did advise you where it was kept and there was no trash in the shed. Our cleaners will take what they can, we apologize for the inconvenience.
  
  We do all we can to make the best possible stay, and we look forward to this property hosting many satisfied guests. We will continue to deliver the 5-star experiences we know we can deliver."

• Fantastic Ski Cabin

  The Cabin was exceptionally clean and modern, warm and cozy. Communication with the host and property manger was great. This is an awesome ski cabin with a basement to accommodate the gear, and wax the skis. The location is perfectly placed between Belleayre and Plattekill mountains. The Cabin is easy to get to from the street. I miss it already....

  We stayed in Denver NY at a beautiful well maintained cabin. It was so relaxing. Every room was clean and comfortable. Loved talking to the host. She was very friendly and accommodating. Can’t wait to return.

• Relaxing vacation

  It was the best vacation with great friends. The cabin was so clean and the hosts were amazing. Can’t wait to go back.
