This was perfect for the two of us. We had everything we needed. The only downside was the bridge into Mount Rainier is closed indefinitely and the next closest entrance to the park was 1 hour and 20 minutes away.

It was a lovely place to spend a weekend. The owners clearly put extra thought into the details of what makes a place feel like home. The owner also communicated promptly to all questions.
We had a great stay in this container home. It has a thoughtful layout, so it felt very roomy and comfortable for the three of us. All of the amenities are top-notch. The locale is quiet and peaceful. We didn't see them, but we heard elk nearby and admired the star-filled nights from the deck--that also has a cute fireplace. Ian is friendly, has great tips for the area, and is easy to
get in touch with. It's also a perfect point to start an adventure at Mt Rainier. We'll definitely be back!
Lovely redo of a shipping container. We stayed in the upstairs unit. Great place to rest after trying the various sections of Mt Rainier each day. The host, Ian, was perfect. We had everything needed for our stay and his extras were a nice touch. To save on space, he has an air fryer instead of an oven. I’d never used one before, but after using his, I ordered one to be delivered the day I returned home!I enjoyed being able to sleep with the windows open for the fresh air and sounds of nature. We saw deer several times, but never the elk that everyone talks about. It was odd, but I enjoyed the fact that my T-mobile cell phone couldn’t make or receive calls. That definitively made it easier to stay disconnected. However, he had great WiFi set up, so when I needed to check email I could, as well as ordering that air fryer! If I ever return to the area, I would want to return and stay in one of his units. I was impressed, as was my adult son. I encourage you to stay with Ian at Carbonaro Containers.
