The property was exactly as advertised and was very well up-kept and quiet. The check in process was seamless and the level of detail from the property management was very thorough. Would happily stay here again!

We loved our stay at the cabin! The bed was comfortable and the cabin was clean and cozy, plus beautiful views from the porch! Would definitely stay there again!
If you want peaceful evenings this is the place to be. Things to be aware of: No cell serviceLong dusty gravel road to get in/out.Grounds maintenance is active during the day, expect to hear a tractor running often. There are only wood Adirondack chairs. Bring a folding/reclining portable chair, lots of places around the property to park a chair. The sun rises behind the cabin.Unless you like dirt/gravel set your GPS to avoid unpaved roads. There are shortcuts in/out but they're unpaved.Drive slow... you may be greeted by a large herd of goats along the way.

Linda and Jerry are welcoming hosts. We arrived an hour or so early and they had no problem with it. Cabin rules are reasonable and no undue burden. There is an excellent book provided with a wealth of information about area activities, attractions, and restaurants, including dog friendly suggestions.
The cabin is clean and comfortable (central heat and air as well as a fireplace) for a couple and a four-footed child, but I would not want to add many more folks. The kitchen has the essentials: coffee maker & filters, toaster, pans, utensils, bowls, plates, cups, even wine glasses, salt and pepper. If you need anything like baking dishes, you need to bring them. The nearest grocery is 1/2 hour away, so make sure you plan your meals well if you are cooking. We used both the gas grill on the porch and the BBQ at the picnic area (bring your own charcoal and lighter fluid). Washer and dryer in the cabin reduces what you need to pack.
Our Corgi loved the creek at the picnic area and the big grassy lawn in front of the cabin. Maple and Coco visited us a couple of times.
The internet works well, but we had no cell signal to speak of. Make sure to have your streaming log in info or you will be out of luck. Rockers on the porch are a great place to have morning coffee, read a book, or watch the fireflies. There are bees around, if you are allergic, take care, though they were not aggressive.
This was our second time staying at Turkey Creek Cove and we will be back.
