The best view on the island!
5/5 What an amazing place to stay! Everything from the view, the pool, the grill, and all the little things for us to use. William was very accommodating and easy to get a hold of. We already want to come back and stay again!

Great place 5 min from Magens Bay
5/5 The villa was exactly like the pictures! It had beautiful views, huge kitchen and great living room. The other bedrooms were spacious and had big closets. They had their own decks as well. My favorite was the hammock that overlooks the ocean. There are 42 steps to go down from where you park your car to the house. Would stay there again in a heartbeat. William, the local contact was so responsive and made us feel very welcome!

Unexpected disappointment
2/5 We were returning to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary. We had originally visited in June of 2004. There were several issues we found with the property. 1. The spa tub water was cloudy, the stainless steel fasteners rusted onto the tub.2. The pool bottom was littered with leaves and bugs.3. A cracked window facing the ocean, very old decayed window caulking, most likely contributing to water damage to the sheetrock inside by the window sill.4. Only 3 areas where smoke detectors were placed, 2 were missing and the one above the stove did not work. Badly placed locations. The other 2 had only the base plate, no detector and were placed just outside of the entry of the kitchen, 1 by the bottom of the staircase and the other by the right side of the entry to the kitchen ( just 7-8 ft apart). No other detectors on the second floor stairwell or hallway.5. On the soffets above the kitchen cabinets, mold was visible all the way around.6. Ceiling of the dining area had moisture damage, improper previous patching was coming undone. The mud and tape was hanging open.7. Downstairs bathroom toilet seat needs to be changed for a new one. Old mold and mildew stains set in despite cleaning.8. Air vents in upstairs bathroom and bedroom moldy and dirty. Moisture damage to ceiling in bathroom by vent.9. Shower pan need to be caulked, grout is cracked and separated from wall tile. This may be the water damage seen in the dining room ceiling.10. and other issues.
