We come to Cody every three years to visit with family. We really enjoyed our stay and the surrounding mountain views were absolutely wonderful! We even got to see and play in the snow during our visit. We took some time to visit Red Lodge and hike to Bridal Falls. I would highly recommend this home to anyone. It was a nice escape from the heat in Oklahoma! The kids love the ping pong table, basketball area, horses, chickens and the creek!! We did stay in one day due to rain and the movie room with popcorn maker helped pass the time!!
Beautiful and quiet setting. Great views; well appointed house.

Wow, where do I begin to tell how awesome our stay at the Powell Ranch Cabin. The cabin was perfect for my daughter, grandson who's 10, granddaughter who is 6, and my younger daughter. Everyone had their bathroom. Beds were comfy. Movie room was great, and the ping pong table was a plus. It was a wonderful experience for the kids to explore the ranch. Cattle, horses and chickens to see. Oh, and they had a basketball court.
Great location, 40 minutes north to Red Lodge, Mt. A cute mountain town, fun place to shop, eat ice cream, and is on the way to Beartooth pass which takes you to the top of the world. Cody, Wy is 30 minutes south. Lots of history, explored the Prairie town, Buffalo Bill Museum and toped it off with the Cody Night Rodeo.
Yellowstone National Park is west of the ranch. You do not want to miss the park. And the Tetons are south of the park.
Down the road from the cabin is the Clark Fork of the Yellowstone River. This is where the Nez Perce tribe crossed. Chief Jospeh took his people on the way to Canada to escape the Calvery.
I loved our stay; it was an awesome place!
Tetons, Yellowstone, remote hikes, scenic drives…
