Fun house, well appointed kitchen
5/5 We had a great stay here. The fun is perfect for families/large groups. The beds are new and comfortable, the kitchen is large and well appointed, fun outdoor spaces out front, the backyard is a bit steep to make a lot of use of. Easy check-in, great host, plenty of parking, and walking distance to the Purple Fiddle.
The Perch is a perfect getaway for a women's retreat and a 50th birthday celebration!
5/5 Spent a long weekend at the Perch for my 50th birthday celebration. What a perfect spot for a group of women to retreat. We cooked and relaxed on the porch, enjoyed gorgeous local hikes, as well as fantastic music in town. The Perch is beyond cozy and there was plenty of room for 8 of us. I can't wait to come back and explore more of the natural beauty and wilderness this beautiful region in West Virginia has to offer.

5/5 A gem that checks all the boxes — proximity to amazing scenic outdoors AND vibrant town charm, ample space and comfortable amenities. The whole property felt like a peaceful retreat — quiet but not isolated, and yet just a 5 minute walk to “downtown” Thomas, a destination in of itself! We loved hanging out on front porch at night, with the propane fire. Comfortable beds, generously stocked, fantastic space, amazing hosts…We will definitely be back!
