Relaxing, clean, well appointed home at Alpine Lake
5/5 My family really enjoyed our time at the Bears Den! The house was very clean, thoughtfully decorated, and well supplied (cooking, extra linens, instructions, etc.). It's definitely one of the nicest homes I've been in at Alpine. The generously sized, covered, wrap-around porch is such an asset -- a place to spend hours just relaxing and enjoying the peace and quiet. Communication with the owners was quick and very helpful. I'd definitely stay there again!
The Bears Den is a winner!!
5/5 Our week at Bear's Den was all we hoped it would be. This beautiful property was one of seven that we rented for a week long family reunion/ family business meeting. We were thrilled to find the cabin neat, clean and attractively decorated. I can't speak to kitchen equipment because we only used our rental for sleeping. During our stay, all of our meals and activities were with our group -which was located nearby. The only thing we would have enjoyed and could have brought was a Keurig coffee maker. Although our week at Alpine was a very warm one, we were cool and comfortable- the central air was great!! We did enjoy our morning coffee on the beautiful, spacious deck. This is a beautiful location. The basement game room was really nice and would provide plenty of entertainment during a stay. Overall, we loved our stay at The Bears Den.

Great stay
4/5 Pros: Great home for family getaway. Air hockey/game room was a nice touch for the kids. Cons: Outside tables were disgustingly dirty. Grass was pretty high, so the kids couldn't really use the yard. And there was a bees nest in the bear box, (nephew was attacked) so watch out for that! Owners were notified but i did not receive a reply.
