It was a beautiful property. Only a few concerns there was no hot water at any point. It was really upsetting after spending a whole day being active that I could not take an actual shower. That was the biggest issue. The other issue was needing a new lighter would help.

From the owner:
"Hi Ariyabelle, we're happy to hear you enjoyed the property’s beauty, but we truly apologize for the lack of hot water during your stay. We understand how disappointing that must have been, especially after a long day of activities. The water heater failure was unexpected, and it took multiple technician calls and service visits to get it fixed.
Thank you again for your feedback—we hope to host you again under better circumstances."
The cottage was peaceful and quiet, warm and inviting, exactly what I had hoped when I booked a last-minute two-night trip for my partner and I. We appreciated having the parking area shoveled and the heater going when we arrived. Furniture was sparse (no couch or comfy chairs), but we had plans that kept us outdoors much of the weekend. The kitchen was stocked with cooking utensils, a coffee maker, and a small fridge, which made dining-in easy - just be aware that the smoke detector is very sensitive (it went off several times while we were cooking some stir-fry) but I was relieved to know that it worked. We couldn't locate the trash-bags for the kitchen trashcan, but improvised with plastic shopping bags. The cottage is conveniently close to town, but also feels secluded, and we enjoyed watching herds of deer pass by in the mornings. It felt intimate and cozy, just perfect for 1-2 people.
