We had the perfect long weekend with family and friends to end the summer. This was our second time in this cabin and everything was just as great as the first time. The house and its amenities offer anything you possibly need/want on a trip up north!
We will be back…

This is a wonderful location for a family get away. We had 6 adults and 2 children and it was perfect for us.
The hosts were super responsive and helpful before and throughout our stay.
Highlights:
- The location on the wolf river is perfect. You get a great view from the bow window in the family room or better yet, the back patio.
- the outdoor spaces are exceptional. Spend you time outdoors. It's got everything you need. Lots of patio furniture. A high quality outdoor grill. The largest fire pit I've ever seen, a hammock, swings and a screen tent if you want to avoid the bugs.
- this is the most fully stocked rental I've seen. Everything needed in the kitchen for any meal. Games, videos, plenty of consumables like toilet paper. At one point my father in law asked - I wonder if they have binoculars. Yep, not one but three pairs.
- the unit was very clean when we arrived. 5 stars to the housekeeper
- we appreciate the history behind this house. The owners have modernized it to provide a high end experience but in the end it was still built as a log cabin and the heating cooling is challenging in some of the rooms. The owners have provided fans to help with airflow.
- would definitely stay here again if we have a large group.
Just so wonderful! Very clean, stocked with all essentials and many extras! The kids loved tubing on the Wolf and are already asking about coming back. We are already talking about a fall weekend and some time next summer!! A very fun and relaxing vacation!

We LOVED staying in this cabin! Our daughter was married at Crab n Jacks, and we were a central place to meet. The cabin was beautiful, the gardens and grounds were peaceful, and we loved listening to the river. Check in and check out was easy, and our host were very willing to accommodate. We couldn’t have been happier ❤️

The cabin was so cozy and relaxing, perfect for a mini holiday getaway with the family around the holidays. The cabin was decorated so beautifully. They left up someChristmas and holiday decor, including some cool vintage pieces, which added to the coziness. There was tons of snow up there, but we were still able to enjoy the hot tub and go for nice walks around the property. Plenty of room for 9 adults and 4 wild kiddos. The mattresses under the beds is such a great idea for extra sleeping space! Plenty of extra sheets, blankets and towels if needed. The place was stocked with all the necessities, like kitchen and bath stuff etc. My in-laws absolutely loved their stay and are already talking about going back.
