3rd time in this lovely cabin. Our favorite by far! Cabin has everything you possibly need and the location next to the Wolf River is perfect. Highly recommended for anyone who wants to spend a few days up north in a truly historic log cabin with modern amenities. We will be back!

Good visit, did feel the backyard seating and lounge area was run down (seating, shade options). The water entry/access was not ideal (dock was broken, however still waded in just fine). The home was nice and we enjoyed our stay.

Hi Bryan, thanks for your feedback! We’re so glad you enjoyed your stay. The owner confirmed that the backyard has several shaded areas around the property. They also mentioned that most people love the sunny back porch. If it’s too sunny, guests often relax on the beautiful front covered porch or enjoy yard games on the half-shaded lawn next to the patio. They also noted that the dock was temporarily affected by unusual rain but was promptly re-anchored once the river receded.
It was absolutely wonderful staying at this property! The wildlife was so exciting to watch and tv is really not needed! Caitlin was an amazing host! We'll be back!
