The cabin was perfect for our family. Our 10-year-old and 7-year-old loved sleeping in the loft. Everything was clean, organized, and ready for us. Lots to do including indoor and outdoor activities. We were a little disappointed with the lake water. It was shallow and mucky, but maybe it is better other years. I would say it is more of a fishing/boating lake than a nice swimming lake.

Very well maintained cabin on the lake. Direct access to the lake. Great location for ice fishing with lots of Northern pike.
White lake is a quiet and natural lake just a few minutes North of Weyauwega. The house was exactly what my friends and I were looking for. While there were only 3 of us, there was plenty more space, including sleeping space, for more. We would consider coming back with our kids and spouses! The cabin had everything we needed, from kitchen supplies to games and even firewood.Outside we couldn't have asked for a better set up. Down a small hill was a fire pit by the lake and dock to fish from. Even without a boat we caught some nice size bluegills. Up near the cabin was plenty of room to park and play yard games, which were also available to use.Lastly, the communication with the owner was superior. I had a few questions before the trip and my emails were answered quickly and thoroughly.

My sisters and I stayed here for four nights. We try to get away for a long weekend a few times a year and this house checked all the boxes. Unfortunately, there were electrical issues. James did his best to help us trouble shoot and was very accommodating and it ended up being an issue with WE Energies who needed to come out a few times. Again, James tried his best and was easy to communicate with.
Other than that, the home is well stocked, beds were super comfortable and the area was very quiet except for the duck hunters. Just be aware there may be hunting going on depending on what time of year you go.
All that being said, I'd still give it 5 stars!
We met family who live in the area and we all stayed together. The place was great. We stayed in early April so the usual “unpredictable” WI weather. We’d love to stay again in warmer weather and spend some time outside by the lake.
