5/5 It’s very rewarding we love it here.
My older brother just turned 72year old. He has issues leaving his house.
My sister and I work on vacations to help him be comfortable.
He loves the barges which he worked on for years after he graduated from high school.
He loves to tell us about them and bought special binoculars this year. To give us more information. It’s very exciting for us all. Every year he wants to come back and stay an extra day.
It’s an awesome bonding time for us siblings. We just Love it there.
And the owners are awesome.
Idyllic cabin
5/5 This A-frame had modern updates with fun retro touches. We were immediately comfortable. The view to the lake is impeccable, even from indoors. Also loved seeing the nesting bald eagles so close, the adorable town of Stockholm, and the drive down the Great River Road.

Wonderful visit!
5/5 My family of four thoroughly enjoyed our visit to this picture-perfect little cabin! It was exactly as pictured, though the beach is way more beautiful than the photos even convey! We had absolutely everything we needed and Terry was a wonderful host. We did run into issues finding restaurants that were open during the early week, but that was simply poor planning on our part. Pro tip: If you have small children and run into rainy weather, the AmericInn in Wabasha will let your kids swim in their pool for a small fee ($6). Was the perfect solution for getting a little energy out. We will absolute book this cabin again- the kids cannot wait to go back!

4/5 We had a nice stay at this cabin. There was good communication with the owners, the home was comfortable, and the view/river access was amazing! Very close to fun shops and restaurants. We will definitely return!
