Take to the ATV trails or book a tee time at Hidden Greens Golf Course 3 miles from your door.
As summer transitions to winter, endless opportunities for snowshoeing, snowmobiling, cross-country skiing and ice fishing await. Grab a warm cup of Joe at Little Gift House and Coffee Shop.
Be sure to check the summer concert schedule at Lucius Woods Performing Arts Center. Should you need a change of scenery, make the 35-mile trip to Hayward or 42-mile drive to Duluth and Lake Superior.

5/5 Clean and cozy. Hosts were very helpful and responsive when a sewer line froze, calling a neighbor to visit late at night to come and help.
Perfect getaway!
5/5 For the last two summers my husband and our 3 kids (ages 2,4&7) spent a week at this beautiful cabin! Our kids enjoyed the outdoors during the day swimming, paddle boarding, fishing, catching frogs and relaxing in the hammock. When we needed a little rest time we were able to watch movies on the smart TV while lounging on the comfy furniture! We enjoyed fires every night (sometimes all day long!) on the gorgeous concrete stamped fire pit. The fire pit is near the water so we were able to watch the snow geese and loons in the water while relaxing by the fire as the sun was setting. After our kids were fast asleep, my husband and I enjoyed the fire while looking up at the stars. The days and nights are so quiet and relaxing at this perfect cabin.
I also had the chance to stay at this cabin with some friends during the winter months. It was just as peaceful! The fire pit is short walk from the cabin. We enjoyed a hot fire and hot drinks!
This cabin is just the right size and so clean! The bunk house is quite the bonus with plenty of room and an attached bathroom that includes a washer and dryer-so convenient!! And the beds are SO comfy! The renters had everything ready for us and were available when we had any questions.
I can’t wait to get back to our perfect getaway next summer!
Peaceful oasis with beautiful views
5/5 We stayed 4 nights and were very pleased with this property! Although it said only 1 bathroom it has 2. The rooms were comfortable and well maintained. The lake view with loons, swans and geese is spectacular. Wonderful fire pit to enjoy. We spent on day kayaking on the Brule River and 2 days on the pontoon on Lake St. Croix with a boat landing that was very close just down the road. Golf club just down the road too. Kayaking on the lake at the cabin was very nice. Would definitely return and recommend this location. Owners were very attentive and accessible to questions we had. Price was spot on.
