Just a 5-minute drive will take you to a public beach on Lake Arrowhead, with additional beach options on Lake Petenwell, Camelot, and Sherwood Lakes. If you're in the mood for a day on the water, pontoon rentals are available at The Lure Bar & Grill at Barnum Bay Marina.

  • Perfect quiet location for our family getaway!

    We brought our 2 teenage children and invited our other 2 adult children with their families to stay in this well equipped, spacious, and fun Hellpap Family Cabin for some quiet family time. The kitchen had everything we needed to make and serve meals around the counter height dining table and kitchen bar. We cozied up in the living room while enjoying the fireplace in the evening and looking out the front windows at the wildlife crossing the road. We enjoyed the sunroom on a warmer day while watching the deer in the backyard graze, we counted 15 at one time! The bedrooms were set up well with the private bedrooms with queen beds upstairs and the bedrooms with multiple beds downstairs. Plenty of bedding in the bedrooms with room darkening curtains. The bathrooms have soaps, shampoos, and plenty of towels.

    The gameroom and theater room was where my kids enjoyed most of their time while bonding! The pool table, pac man game, multiple TVs in the bar area was a huge hit.

    Overall, if you are looking for a quiet escape from the busy work week, this is the place to be. I can see how this would be a wonderful getaway for all seasons with the fun times at the multiple beaches in the area, the beautiful fall leaves in the fall and the snowy scenery cozied up by the fire in the winter.

  • We are in love with this cabin and the community

    We had an amazing stay at the Helpap cabin. It is a quality home with lots of thoughtful amenities/supplies. We also very much enjoyed the pools and pickleball courts (at The Chalet) included through the Lake Arrowhead community. The screened porch was our favorite spot!

    Loved the beautiful location! We got a lot of walks in during this beautiful fall weather. The house was very clean and well stocked with all the necessities! The host even came over to fix a tv issue within 5 mins of calling. We will rent again!
