• Northern Cabin

  This cabin is a north woods family cabin. A cabin with many generations that have passed through it. The morning and evening views were exceptional and the screened in porch was perfect for hang out time with family and friends. The interior is a north woods cabin that has been around for years. Exactly what a Wisconsin person would expect in a family owned cabin. No high end frills and expensive decor, just a place that has all the amenities that a person needs with the quietness and the views to relax every day. Both bathrooms seemed to have been updated with everything working correctly. Contact with the rental group was a minimum with no issues.

  Beautiful property with everything that is needed for a lake vacation. The view and privacy was great and the closeness to town was very convenient.

• The Shack

  We spent 10 days here. Cottage is very old, dated and the kitchen needs a complete remodel along with pots and utensils. It all fits with the cabin name of "The Shack". The interior was tidy. Location was great. We liked the screened in gazebo and double rocker on the pier. Exterior was rough as well. For us, it was a little too rustic.

  - We understand you feel the kitchen is dated, but we assure you it is clean and functional.
  - The exterior was repainted about four years ago, and the windows and siding are in good shape.
  - If there is another aspect of an exterior you found rough, please don't hesitate to reach out so we can improve it for future guests.
  - Its age and distinctly rustic character are part of its charm, and it's something we and many others have found especially appealing. We use professional photographers to ensure our images accurately reflect the property so guests can decide before booking if the property meets their expectations.

• We enjoyed our stay!

  The view was one of favorite parts of the stay! We loved sitting in front of the window and watching the water. We saw a couple does and their fawns with if minutes of being there. We could even see the Big Dipper reflected onto the water one night. The beach area would be perfect for a family during warmer months.

  The cabin has all the necessary amenities and then some. Kitchen pots/pans/tableware and coffee makers, towels and linens, heated bathroom fan, foam mattress topper.. we were even pleasantly surprised to find that the cabin actually did have WiFi so we were able to add a few more creature comforts to our week.

  We were there mostly during the week so it was a very quiet stay for us but there are neighboring cabins much closer than we anticipated. One of the large windows looks right at the near by cabin and you can see the two just beyond that as well.

  Overall, it was a great stay and we would not hesitate to book here again.
