  Norseman Point served as an excellent basecamp for my group of friends exploring local winter activities. World class Nordic and fat bike trails practically next door. Snowriver alpine skiing less than an hour away. Snowshoe trails on the property, great restaurants and breweries nearby. And did I mention that the place itself is magnificent? Every detail from the stovetop to the sauna is exceptional. Host John provided a great overall experience. A+

  Our stay at The Norseman was nothing short of incredible. This cabin is full, true luxury—every detail is high-end, thoughtful, and clearly chosen with pride in ownership. The style is the perfect blend of modern cabin and cozy comfort: clean lines, gorgeous furnishings, and a warmth that instantly makes you feel at home.

  The fireplace completely transforms the space into a warm, inviting retreat, and the view of the lake is absolutely breathtaking. The private lot is serene and peaceful—exactly what we needed. Whether you want to stay busy or do absolutely nothing, this cabin has everything: plenty of indoor and outdoor activities, or the perfect backdrop to simply relax.

  This was the first time in a long time my husband and I truly slowed down, unplugged, and relaxed. We never thought we’d be “cabin people,” but after this stay? We’re already counting down the days until we can come back.

  Amazing hosts, a tranquil setting, and a fully luxurious experience—The Norseman is a 5-star getaway through and through. Highly recommend!

  This beautiful home and property are a must if you are looking to stay in the north woods! They have thought of all details to make your stay so comfortable. The location is fantastic with access to so much to do and see. The house is immensely stocked with anything you could want in the kitchen, the game room is a fun hangout spot, all the lake toys are a bonus as well. The property is huge with lots of fun yard games to play, the sauna is a little bonus too on those chilly mornings or evening! This retreat is a MUST stay!!

• A great place to unwind

  We really enjoyed hiking and canoeing when it meant returning to Norseman Point. While this site has spectacular views of the lake, the lake house more than matches it in beauty. We slept very well in the spacious beds and had plenty of room to relax . . . on the deck, in the Great Room, at the fire pit, in the yard, playing ping-pong downstairs and steaming in the sauna.

  The home’s interior is beautifully designed with wonderful touches everywhere. I found myself stopping and just looking in every direction. It’s just far enough into the woods to be peaceful without being isolated.

  I loved opening up the shades every morning and seeing the morning sun reflecting off the lake. What a great way to start a day! I also loved sitting on the dock and watching the water and focusing on the silence.

  This place lets you be as restful or as active as you want to be. As I watched the bright, beautiful stars in the night sky above Norseman Point, I was thinking that I need to come back here again.

  We had a wonderful stay! The home has tremendous finishes, with design elements that were absolutely perfect and made the space feel both stylish and comfortable. From the moment you arrive, it feels warm and welcoming. Communication was clear, timely, and helpful, which made everything smooth and easy. Absolutely 5/5 stars—highly recommend!
