Great stay
5/5 Close to downtown Lake Mills and short drive into Madison. Was a nice home- clean, nicely laid out. Two full bathrooms. Enjoyed our stay!

Nice house in a nice town
5/5 The house is very well cared for and in excellent condition, probably recently renovated. The home is a good size for a family and feels airy due to the open floor plan in the front of the house. Everyone enjoyed the ping pong and foosball tables in the basement.The owners were very communicative and helpful.Although some reviews mention that there are a lot of house rules, I thought the expectations were reasonable. I have stayed in vacation rentals with more restrictive rules and more check-out requirements.The town of Lake Mills is a gem. I was surprised by the amount of activity in town and the quality of the restaurants. Though a lot of the food is similar to higher end bar food one finds elsewhere in the state, the ingredients were all fresh and high quality, and the food was carefully prepared.Rock Lake offers excellent recreational activities and was not too crowded even at the height of tourist season. I would recommend renting some sort of water craft. Though there are several public boat launches, much of the land around the lake is privately owned.All in all, I would highly recommend this rental. Thank you to the hosts for making our brief summer vacation a good one!
