The Cherry Cottage is in a great location. The cottage was cute and suited our needs perfectly. As mentioned in previous posts, the phone service is not great, but I was able to send text messages and make phone calls through Verizon. Trying to look something up on my phone or checking in for my flight was not a possibility. The weather was incredibly windy and cold while we were there, but the house was still nice and warm.
The property was extremely clean and access to the Peninsula State Park was great!

The host, Deborah, was very hospitable and made our stay that much more pleasant. We forgot to bring a step stool for our 4 year olds, so she bought one for the property. There is also a shed to store bikes out of the weather. There is a hammock, fire pit, picnic table and grill outside as well (we didn't use the grill), for enjoying the outdoors. The sky looks pretty good at night there. The location couldn't be much better. You can ride your bike right into Peninsula State Park from the other entrance to the property off the main road. Not all was perfect. The cold water in the bathroom sink was just a trickle, and the WiFi was not really usable. Cell phone reception was about as bad as it gets (YMMV depending on your provider). I guess that's not terrible if you want to unplug, but trying to reserve a restaurant was challenging. The water issue required shutting it off to all the cottages, so it's understandable that it couldn't be remedied until the off season. It was fine in the kitchen sink and shower. Neither of these were show stoppers.Would I stay there again? Definitely.
