5/5 This was a perfect place to stay! Very close to downtown Egg Harbor, and felt very serene in the woods. Had everything we needed lots of chairs, blankets, towels, kitchen was full of dishes and utensils. Will absolutely be back!
1/5 Well, we’re looking for a refund at this point!!! When we arrived to the house, the electricity was turned off due to nonpayment by the owner. They owed over 600 on the electric bill. We lost all of our food in the refrigerator due to the electric off! We were on the phone with the property manager for an hour and a half trying to figure out how to get the electric turned back on because they didn’t have the money 3 hours later the property manager made a payment arrangement with the electric company and it was turned back on by that time. Our food was ruined! The house was filthy. Nobody had dusted or cleaned. The bathtub in the master bathroom was disgustingly filthy I had to clean it myself and then I didn’t take a bath, cause I was afraid too. I broke my nail on my second toe because the wood floors were all coming apart, and I actually fell due to tripping on the wood floor boards that were warped and coming apart. The paint job was like a three year-old painted the house. The area was nice, but the house is falling apart! The wood deck you have to wear shoes or you’ll get splinters. It’s completely falling apart! My son got a sliver in his foot just walking on it until we realize we need to wear shoes out there! We were refunded one night from Verbo because of the Electric situation but now we want a full refund I got hurt my son got hurt. This property should not be rented out to another person until everything is fixed or the house is condemned!!! please refund us!!!
