• Secluded, Waterfront get away

  Very well updated property! What looks to be a former fishing cabin is very well renovated with a nice living area including full kitchen. Easy drive to all Door County has to offer. Updated bathroom and laundry area. Outdoor area is well set up for the site with chairs, fire pit and bag toss. Only problem- in early June it was too buggy to enjoy it. Watched the sunrise from the living room windows each morning and enjoyed bird watching while watching the sunrise. Inside was lovely but could you have used a few more thoughtful touches. The living area doesn’t have much ambience at night. There are either very bright overhead lights or nothing. There are no lamps or dimmer switches. The bedrooms are completely functional but lack a place to stow your clothes. There is little floor space, no luggage rack, closet or drawers. We lived directly out of suitcases. All that said, I would stay here again. The property was very comfortable and cute.

Due to space, we do not have dressers in the bedrooms, but we provide shelves, a closet rod with hangers and 2 hotel-style folding luggage stands in the room off the main bedroom to accommodate storage. We also recently added steps for easier access to the water. Thank you for your review."

• Excellent featured cottage on the water

  We enjoyed the comforts of the cottage, s'mores at the fire pit, exploring North Bay, and equal distance drives to Bailey's, Ephraim, and Sister Bay. Smooth checkin and checkout. Needed minimal communication with host because their info sheet was great. 👍

• Quiet and Peaceful

  Cute little cottage! Very quiet and relaxing! Pictures on website are somewhat deceiving with the waterfront location. There is a large bank of rocks prior to getting close to the water and there are no wave sounds as this is located in the bay. The cottage was clean with nice towels in the bathroom, however the pillows were in protective pillow cases that made them feel like pillows you would find in a hospital (not comfortable). The kitchen was cute and supplied with many essentials for any cooking, however the kitchen was swarming with fruit flies that we noticed immediately upon arrival. The bathroom was small with only one mirror. It would be nice to add an additional mirror to the cottage for convenience of getting ready for an evening out. The overall location was very convenient to travel to nearby parks, stores, and restaurants. Cool fire pit with nice chairs and tables around the fire pit!

  From the owner: "The rocks are there due to fluctuating water levels of the bay, these rocks are also in the photos online. Due to being in a bay, you will not have the same wave action as the ocean. We are replacing the “crinkly” pillow protectors with soft ones and will also be installing mirrors in the bedrooms. We have had some gnats these past couple of weeks, which happens every year. Thank you for review"
