Farm life
5/5 The stay at the farm house was great. The two children loved seeing horses ,a goat , a chick.a fun teip for all.

Three generations of vacation fun
5/5 Everything was as listed only better. The house was clean and family (and pet) friendly. The house was loaded with games and info on local attractions. Plenty of clean towels and sheets. A great place for family fun. The owners go out of their way to make you and your family comfortable. Five stars are not enough. Our family rates this place as six stars.
Ideal Definition of "Quaint"
5/5 If you can picture the word "quaint", this location would exemplify that mental image. The house was spacious and very clean - the host even left us a surprise gift in the fridge to welcome us!
The location is a bit off the beaten track, but we knew that going into it and appreciated the seclusion. With this only being 20 minutes away from major area attractions like Cave of the Mounds, House on the Rock, and Governor Dodge State Park, you're far enough away to avoid the everyday hustle and bustle of the city but still close enough to enjoy everything the "Driftless" region has to offer.
I would highly recommend this property for any family that is wanting to visit the area for it's attractions or (as we did) a bit of "glamping" at one of the state parks.

Wonderful accomodations
5/5 So much room to spread out.
Very clean and well stocked
Not only dog friendly but catering to them. My dogs thought the trip was for them, they have never had so much room to run
Even though it's a working farm very quiet hardly knew anyone else was there
5/5 Our stay was wonderful! The house had perfect accommodations for the 5 of us with room for several more! It contained ALL of the conveniences of home along with great water pressure in the showers, easy access to areas adventures, and very friendly hostess! Aside from a thoughtful welcome gift, she left us theee most beautiful and sweet tasting strawberries! LOVED THE EXPERIENCE and will definitely keep the reference for future stays in the area.
