It was lacking in many ways. There were tea bags and one packet of hot cocoa, that's all. We had to request coffee and kleenix, since there was none of it anywhere in the house. The host wasn't helpful at all and wrote a condescending email response and did nothing to correct the problem. Had to call the manager and only then were coffee, hot chocolate and tissues delivered the next day.The house looks nice in the photos but was clearly done on the cheap. The sofas were very deep with no pillows for back support so we had to drag pillows from upstairs in order to use them. It's a large multi bedroom house. But there's is only a single TV and it's in the master bedroom with only a small sofa to sit on and no tables to set a drink on. In other words, no place to gather to watch a Packer's game or anything else. The master shower, which could be fabulous if it was glassed in with high quality plumbing, instead has two little cheap shower heads and a cloth shower curtain. It reminded me of the showers in a Super 8.It's a long path to the lake and it's downright treacherous. Where there should be steps there is just a very steep mulched path. Super slippery. My mother-in-law would never be able to navigate it.And the dock is in a very reedy narrow shallow area at the end of the lake. It was hard to maneuver the boat close to the dock because it's so shallow. The basement is only roughed in so not yet usable. Needs comfy seats, tables and a nice TV where a family can gather.
