• Beautiful house

  The house is beautiful and has an absolutely stunning view of Mt Rainier. The beds were extremely comfortable and the kitchen was well equipped. We had good communication with the host and an easy check in. I would just caution anyone with kids from staying here - it’s definitely a house for adults, as there is a large open staircase throughout the middle of the house. The floors on the main floor are concrete or some sort of stone so tough for toddlers/new walkers. The outdoor space is beautiful with the views, but the grass area seems to be under construction. We also had a hungry raccoon try to join our outdoor dinner one night lol. All in all a beautiful house, but not the cozy stay I think we might have hoped for at this price. Just felt a bit cold - definitely meant for a different audience than two couples and a baby!

  The property owner was very accommodating, nice and responsive. The house was absolutely beautiful and clean. Great location, quiet neighborhood and a short walk to the beach. Great views and loved the ocean smells. We will definitely be back to stay here in Vashon.

• Very nice home

  The home was nice and clean. It is in a nice neighborhood close to the water. I loved using the kayaks. We would stay there again!

• Wonderful stay in beautiful home

  There were 7 of us seniors: 3 couples + 1 single. Dealing with the owner was seamless and pleasant.

  We loved the setting of the house, location, cleanliness, the various rooms, beds were great, kitchen fully stocked, etc…. but the set up re the 2 full bathrooms was not ideal for our group because one bathroom is ensuite, so access is limited for the others and the other bathroom is a jack and jill configuration, which is ok, but the sinks are set low, for easy kid access. Speaking of children, site says house is suitable for children but just note that owner's personal effects/pictures/mementos are all around and so if it were me, would be very careful with children in the house.

  Overall, I recommend the house with the caveats noted!

• Beautiful Designed Home

  This was a beautifully designed home (lots of natural wood beams). We absolutely loved the kitchen (huge). It was only a 3 minute walk to the beach.
