If you're looking to work on your tan or do some exploring, hop in the car and drive 13 minutes to Point Defiance Park. This bayfront park is located at the northern tip of Tacoma and boasts a Zoo & Aquarium, the famous Five Mile Drive, as well as a ferry to Tahlequah on Vashon Island!
Some other ideas for fun include visiting the Chihuly Bridge of Glass and the Tacoma Art Museum downtown, play a game of golf at one of the top-notch courses in the city like the Allenmore Golf Course, or enjoy one of the many local parks in the city. Auto enthusiasts can't resist exploring the famous LeMay - America's Car Museum (ACM) site!
Downtown Seattle is also just a 35-mile trek from your door if you want to make a day trip to explore the famous Pike Place Market.

A little bit of a let down
3/5 Loved the kitchen, the older home had some attractive updates & The area close to many food options. I would not recommend bringing any kids or elderly- as the stairs going both upstairs or down to basement are not safe. I’m surprised no one has slipped or fallen- the stairs could not have met code! The floors upstairs are sloped terribly. The fireplace was closed, yet had a very cold draft blowing in- we had to makeshift something to block the air. The furniture was terribly uncomfortable - one couch had virtually no back - how to sit comfortably and watch tv? Not sure. A little disappointed, as these things could be corrected. will not stay again.

We regret that a guest had a less than satisfactory experience at the Grey House. It's always our intention to create an inviting and cozy atmosphere, and we took great care in decorating the property.
To address the issues raised, we have already implemented updates to both stairwells to ensure they meet safety codes. Additionally, we have improved the railing systems for the outside entrances of the home.
We have already replaced the single chair with the two seats currently in the living area. Additionally, we are planning to upgrade the seating to something more comfortable in the coming days. We will also reassess recent additions to ensure they meet our standards of comfort and functionality.
Additionally, we are committed to ensuring the fireplace is in optimal working condition and will personally inspect it during our upcoming visit to the house at the earliest opportunity.
Our commitment to providing the best possible experience for all our guests is evident in the satisfaction of numerous others who have stayed with us.Great house, great location

Our stay cay
5/5 We were refinishing our hardwood floors at our house and moved out for the week while the job was completed. Everything was perfect. Michaeal, the owner, was so helpful with everything and the house was perfect. It worked out great. Had lots of amenities stocked with everything you would need and very close by to where we live. It all worked out perfectly.
