    5/5

We just returned from a 3 day stay with 5 adults at the cottage. The house is perfectly nestled in an airy forest setting with a gorgeous tree framed view of the water. Steps, though steep, gave direct access to the beach. There is a new fire pit and new seating ledge with swivel, rocking Adirondack chairs for lounging with coffee or cocktails. This was in addition to an open air porch also perfect for morning coffee and evening cocktails.

Bedrooms were comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked. Rick made contact via text with us to check in and responded quickly to messages! Really appreciate them sharing there space. Highly recommend!

    Manager's Response:

From the owner: "Thank you so much for coming to the Preble Beach House."

  • Nice place but not secluded

    4/5

Overall, a very pleasant stay. We were grateful for the bottle of wine and bowl of fruit left for us. We enjoyed the kayaks although it tended to be rainy a bit and the porch with the propane fireplace. The place was well outfitted with supplies. We ended up not needing a lot of supplies that we brought with. One thing I would recommend is an upgrade of the linens and towels. They were a little old and dingy. Other than that, the place was very clean and well stocked.

  • So peaceful

    5/5

Great cottage, right on the water. The outdoor living space is incredible. Truly a place to relax and get away to reset. The cottage also has a great layout - master bedroom on one side and the 2 additional bedrooms and 1 full bathroom on the other side of the living room/kitchen area. Kitchen is spacious and plenty of kitchenware to comfortably cook. I highly recommend the cottage!

  • Beautiful setting

    5/5

The location couldn't be better - the sunrise views are spectacular. The outdoor spaces are lovely and comfortable and the open porch with fireplace was a favorite nightly and early in the mornings. The home had everything we needed, bed was comfortable, host was friendly and responsive to questions.

  • Great place on the Hood Canal

    5/5

We had a wonderful time staying at this home on the Hood Canal. The view was spectacular, the outdoor spaces were lovely with lots of seating, and the home was well situated to all the activities we wanted to do. Our favorite thing was the propane fireplace on the porch - early mornings and evenings were spent there. The home was comfortable and had everything we needed, the host was friendly and very responsive to questions, and the area was quiet and peaceful. We would stay here again!
