Wonderful Lake Home
5/5 This is our second time staying in this perfectly located house.
We love the views, incredible dock, plenty of room and things to do for our entire family.
Looking forward to booking another weekend soon.

Beautiful Home but won't rent from Evolve again
3/5 We reserved this home 10 mos in advance for our kids and grandkids (8 adults and 5 kids ages 5 and under) for the Labor Day weekend. The day before our reservation was to begin we received an email with check in info and rules including "absolutely no more than 8 people allowed!" I knew that the advertisement said that the house "sleeps 8" but 2 of the 5 kids are infants and it wasn't going to be a problem. I contacted Evolve to make sure we were all on the same page and they basically told me "under 2 doesn't count so you are really only 3 over but NO!" After much back and forth with the guest host and payment of an additional "cleaning fee for 5 people", we were finally given the ok to continue with our vacation at 7:00pm the night before our departure.
Then we get to the house and are getting settled in. We have a shade awning up and the water toys that come with the house up for the kids when at 5:00pm on Saturday night the landscaper shows up to mow the yard! We declined and then received a text from the host questioning why we didn't let them mow in the middle of our rental time!!
The house was beautiful and was everything we hoped for but unfortunately if it is managed by Evolve, we won't be back.

Our goal is to make vacation rentals easy for everyone, and we're very sorry that we missed the mark. We are sorry that we did not answer your questions and give you the information you needed. Owner's response: "Kim, the right vacation home is everything, and we're disappointed if this wasn't the one for you.
- We apologize that you were not given the correct information upfront. We have the house listed with a capacity of 8 guests and yes, Evolve does not count children under the age of 2. However, as the owners we are liable for all the people in the home if something were to happen, we need to know how many people are there and want to be sure that everyone is safe.
- We understand why you did not want the grass to be mowed while you were at the home. We are fully booked and can't guarantee that the home will be empty when the lawn service comes. We have to get it scheduled when we can because if it gets out of control our guests will complain about it being too long. We apologize for the inconvenience.
We truly go above and beyond for our guests, and we are confident that future guests will have excellent stays! We will continue to deliver the 5-star experiences we are known for."Lakehiouse
